Multi-linguist and citizen of the world, Manu Chao, will be making some quick stateside stops next month as part of his La Ventura Tour, including a show at The Warfield in San Francisco and his first Los Angeles-area performance since 2007’s Coachella at Smokeout Fest. The global superstar, best known for his spirited live performances, will also grace two other West Coast stages this October with a special trio setup.
From what we’ve seen on Manu Chao’s most recent release, the CD and DVD duo of live performances Baionarena, the Manu Chao live experience is electrifying and otherworldly. And as close to the real thing as we’d like to imagine Baionarena to be, we’re sure the real real thing blows it out of the water.
