Hailing from LA, all of them from different backgrounds, this seven-piece band found their niche in Mexican regional music (yup, vihuelas, guitarrón, and violins are all included). But these guys ain’t from your typical mariachi group. The cool thing about Mariachi El Bronx is that they add their own original interpretation of rock deriving from their previous sound when they were just called The Bronx, and gave it a firme punk twist.

After the release of their 2011 self-tiled pt. II album, tracks caught the attention of several prominent DJ/Producers out there including Algodón Egipico, Zizek’s Super Guachín, among others, who’ve remixed a common song, “Revolution Girls.” This time, we get an exclusive remix by Colombia’s electronic duo Monareta. The song, a romantic tune about finding love in Revolution Boulevard and becoming “a man,” gets a cheerful dubby bounce treatment, which makes it perfect for summer love cause love is in the air. Happy downloading!
