There were a fair amount of local musicians on this year’s Vive Latino 2013 line up, but there were also a ton of out-of-towners. We decided to give those who hailed from further shores a casual, 20-question pop quiz because here at Remezcla we are dedicated to the expansion of knowledge and wisdom in potentially humiliating ways. The challenge? To see just how much they knew about Mexico lindo y querido – namely, if they were able to distinguish between Mexican States and Mexican drinks/snacks. Because let’s be real, some of those words derived from Mexico’s indigenous languages can be hard to tell apart for non-natives. Here’s how they fared:
