To say these guys are unpredictable and multi-faceted would be an understatement. Seriously. Every new song Mood-Fu drops goes in a tangentially different direction from the previous.
Examples: a few years ago, they came out with some club-banging, new-school hip-hop joints. More recently, we introduced them to you with a syrupy slo-mo and a beyond sexy bedtime adventure. And now, right when you thought you had them figured out, they come out with this rock/rap hybrid à la Molotov.
For their new track “Calaca” (third advance single they release from their upcoming album, announced for October) the Mexican duo invited Alanity (of the band Vincente Gayo) to help with the vocals and Bonnz (of Hello Seahorse!) to do his thing on the drums, and both are also featured on the video (if you can recognize them under all that filth). The hard-rock guitar riffs are all theirs.
