A wise man once said “it’s gonna be MAY!” and that means one thing: the return of the annual Neon Desert Music Festival in El Paso, Texas. The festival has only gotten bigger and better since its inaugural edition four years ago and this year is no exception. For the first time ever, Splendid Sun Productions will spread its festival across three days and they’ve just announced some key names who will play a part in the festivities.

J. Cole, Kaskade, and Passion Pit will headline the event which will also include Zoé, a.k.a. the band responsible for one of the best Alt. Rock albums in any language. The band will share the stage with Mexican peers Enjambre, Ximena Sariñana, and Compass, the long-awaited project from Camilo Lara/Toy Selectah. Meanwhile, Cypress Hill, Los Rakas, and La Mala Rodriguez will provide plenty of rap in two languages.

This year’s obligatory Omar Rodriguez Lopez-related project is Antemasque, featuring his formerly estranged bandmate Cedric Bixler Zavala. ORL sibling Marcel will also make an appearance as Eureka The Butcher.
