SXSW may be the huge draw for these next two weeks but let’s not forget that the great state of Texas has more to offer festival and music lovers, such as the annual Neon Desert Music Festival. Promoters of the one-day festival in El Paso just announced this year’s lineup for the third edition of Neon Desert.

The festival, which takes place on Saturday, May 25th, features a headlining set by chilanga roceros Molotov. Just imagine all of downtown El Paso yelling out “¡PUTO!” in unison. Across downtown’s many stages will also be Bosnian Rainbows, marking hometown hero Omar Rodriguez-Lopez’ third appearance in as many years, Grammy winner Carla Morrison as well as Tijuana’s electronic, dynamic duo of Bostich + Fussible. A Band Of Bitches, featuring members of Plastilina Mosh, and VRNS will also make an appearance along a few notable non-latino acts such as some dude named Paul Banks or something.
