Tonight marks the launch of ¡Que Sabroso!, a party series celebrating a cross-section of electro-tropical sounds that fall under the banner of “world bass.” Headed up by Victor Rivera Lleras aka Lucha Libre, tonight’s party is the first in a series of events intending to be a platform and meeting point for local and international artists in Puerto Rico.
The inaugural party features PR-based party rappers Füete Billëte (as profiled in Remezcla’s “Trilligan’s Island” feature and documentary) and DJ Chaman Díaz, with D’marquesina in town from New York for the occasion.
The party starts at 9 PM tonight at La Respuesta, 600 Ave. Fernandez Juncos in Santurce with $10 cover, and more info for future events can be found on ¡Que Sabroso’s! website.
