Okay, seriously, there must be something in Chile’s water that all musicians are drinking cause the music scene keeps cranking out hits. The Santiago-based, post punk quartet Oh Margot recently released How To Kill Some Time, an EP they gave away free of charge. From that EP comes the source of their latest video and single “Beautiful Embracement.”
Taking place in the former Russian territory of Tbilisi, Georgia, the shoot follows a female protagonist through some weird little adventure in Tbilisi — video shot with a retro, vintage look that kids these days describe as “instagram-ish” because they don’t know any better. Also, the three characters featured are dressed very sharply, so come to think, is this secretly an ad for an Oh Margot clothing line? Count me in!
