Óscar Maydon Unveils First U.S. ‘Rico o Muerto Tour’

After his groundbreaking hit “Tu Boda,” Óscar Maydon is going to tour the U.S. for the first time. The 13-city “Rico o Muerto Tour” will kick off at The Union Event Center in Salt Lake City, UT, on July 25 and wrap up at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, CA, on Oct. 11.

Following his first date in Salt Lake City, the emerging música mexicana singer will take on stages like the Paramount Theatre in Denver, CO (July 26); The Aztec Theatre in San Antonio, TX (Aug. 1); and the Payne Arena in Hidalgo, TX (Aug. 2). He will then continue with performances at the Arizona Financial Theatre in Phoenix, AZ (Aug. 8); The Fillmore Charlotte in Charlotte, NC (Aug. 14); and the Coca Cola Roxy in Atlanta, GA (Aug. 16).

The second half of the “Rico o Muerto Tour” continues with stops at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory in Irving, TX (Aug. 22); the 713 Music Hall in Houston, TX (Aug. 23); and the Palladium Times Square in New York, NY (Aug. 30). His last string of shows include performances at the San Jose Civic in San Jose, CA (Oct. 3); the SOMA Theater in San Diego, CA (Oct. 10); and the YouTube Theater in Inglewood, CA (Oct. 11).

Maydon is from Mexicali, Baja California. He currently has two albums out: 2022’s GXLE <3 and 2023’s Distorsión.  Besides “Tu Boda” with Fuerza Regida, Maydon is known for his other corridos bélicos like “Madonna” with Natanael Cano, “SANTAL 33” with Peso Pluma, and “Mejores Jordans” with Victor Mendivil. His most recent joint track is “La Dama” with Edén Muñoz. 

General tickets for the “Rico o Muerto Tour” will go on sale starting Mar. 31 at 10 a.m. local time via Live Nation. There are also VIP packages and experiences available on VIP Nation.
