The nominations for the 2023 Premio Lo Nuestro were announced today. Colombian pop star Sebastián Yatra leads the nominations, followed by Bad Bunny, Camilo, Becky G, and Grupo Firme.

Every year, Premio Lo Nuestro honors the best acts in Latine music in 39 categories. Yatra is the most-nominated artist with 10 nominations. 2022 was a breakthrough year for him. He sang “Dos Oruguitas” from the Encanto soundtrack at the Academy Awards last year when the song was nominated for an Oscar. Yatra also released his top-selling album Dharma.

Yatra is one of 10 acts nominated for Artist of the Year. He faces competition from artists across different genres. Bad Bunny, Becky G, J Balvin, and Karol G are also nominated for the award. Regional Mexican music is represented in the category with Ángela Aguilar, Christian Nodal, and Grupo Firme also featured. Prince Royce and Camilo round out the list.

Bad Bunny, Camilo, Becky G, and Grupo Firme follow Yatra with nine nominations each.

The Song of the Year category also features artists from various genres. Yatra’s “Tacones Rojos” faces Anitta’s breakthrough hit “Envolver,” Becky G and Karol G’s smash “Mamiii,” and Bad Bunny’s “Moscow Mule.” Romeo Santos’ “Sus Huellas” is also up for the award alongside songs like Grupo Firme and Maluma’s “Cada Quien, J Balvin and Sech’s “Una Nota,” and Aguilar’s “Ahí Donde Me Ven.”

The Album of the Year category includes Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti, Rosalía’s Motomami, Yatra’s Dharma, and Daddy Yankee’s final release Legendaddy. Albums from Marc Anthony, Christian Nodal, Carlos Vives, and Becky G round out this category.

Fans can vote for their favorite artists on PremioLoNuestro.com starting today until Feb. 5. Yatra, Alejandra Espinoza, Paulina Rubio, and Adrián Uribe will host the awards. Premio Lo Nuestro will air live from Miami, FL, on Feb. 23 on Univision.
