For those who were curious about where President Barack Obama stands on the streaming wars, he recently opened a Spotify account. But that’s the not the important thing here. After all, the leader of the free world is welcome to choose whichever streaming service (or services) he likes.

Along with his new account, President Obama has shared two public playlists of the music he listens to when he’s on vacation, titled “Day” and “Night.” Among selections from artists like The Temptations, Bob Dylan, Frank Sinatra, Nina Simone, Joni Mitchell, Coldplay, and Mos Def, we’ve spotted a few Latino picks in the mix. On the “Day” playlist, there’s a remix of “Tengo Un Trato” by Spanish rapper Mala Rodríguez; additionally, the closing track is “La Salsa La Traigo Yo” by Sonora Carruseles. I can’t stop imagining him dancing to salsa in his living room while Secret Service agents remain on guard. While the “Night” mix doesn’t have any Remezcla-approved artists, there’s “Flamenco Sketches” from Miles Davis’ classic Kind Of Blue, which at least references Spanish music for that Mediterranean flavor.

We can’t wait to hear what other music POTUS will share with us in the future. If you’re reading this, sir, we have some suggestions.
