Primavera Sound Announces Line-Up with Short Film "Line-Up"

Primavera Sound, the mahoosive music festival taking place in Barcelona come May, just announced their line up in probably the coolest way that’s ever been done. Premiering their short film “Line-Up” alongside the literal line up, the trippy tale follows a record store owner and all the strange happenings that occur once a mystery man in a hat leaves a vinyl on his door-step. All the while, names of bands and artists playing Primavera Sound are cleverly looped into the film’s narrative. In one scene, a Pixies song plays in the background, an Arcade Fire poster adorns the wall and the protagonist Paul, wears a Television t-shirt. Tonight, cinemas in Spain’s big cities (Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Sevilla and Bilbao) will be screening the film’s premiere while it streams online simultaneously. Oh, and afterwards, they’re having a party with free food, booze and a secret international guest. Umm… can we come?
