Quemasucabeza’s Festival Neutral Announces Lineup For Mexico City 2015 Edition

So far, 2015 has been the year of Latin American indie music festival cross-pollination. In April, Mexico’s Festival NRMAL announced they’d be launching a Costa Rica edition of the festival. And now, Chile’s Festival Neutral, organized by leading indie label Quemasucabeza, will be doing its first away-from-home edition in Mexico City this July.

Perhaps this shouldn’t come as a big surprise, after all, Quemasucabeza is launching satellite headquarters in Mexico and it’s no secret that Chile’s indie scene has been gaining lots of traction abroad. Still, we’re excited to see the growth of new festivals dedicated to showcasing homegrown independent talent, and to see these artists gain followings all over Latin America. Plus the line up is dope. The list includes Gepe, Ases Falsos, Pedropiedra, Protistas, Fakuta, Coiffeur, Prehistöricos… and more to come! Catch the schedule below and stay tuned for more announcements.
