Fans have been waiting years for the Grand Theft Auto VI video game, and to prove it’s worth the wait, Rockstar has released a soundtrack teaser featuring six songs. Rauw Alejandro and CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso are among the first artists included.
Alejandro contributes “Macacoa 2000,” a throwback, OG reggaeton sucio track that nods to the genre’s golden age. Meanwhile, the Argentine duo teams up with PinkPantheress, Fred again…, and French DJ Étienne de Crécy on “Sexy Magic,” a club-ready house cut that lands as a late-night banger.
The preview also includes tracks by Yung Lean featuring Future and Metro Boomin, Travis Scott (produced by Daft Punk’s Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo), Morgan Wallen, and The Rolling Stones’ Keith Richards.
Rockstar Games and Atlantic Records revealed that the official soundtrack, Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, will feature 34 new tracks created specifically for the game. As with previous installments, the songs reflect the atmosphere of Vice City and Leonida, the fictional setting of GTA VI. The album will be released November 19 alongside the game, with digital, CD, and vinyl editions planned.
