This year’s Premios Tu Música Urbano nominations are out! On May 2, the fourth edition’s nomination list revealed that Rauw Alejandro, Bad Bunny, and Feid are the three most nominated artists for the upcoming award show. Karol G is the most nominated female star. Premios Tu Música Urbano will take place at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on June 15.
Rauw leads the pack with a total of 12 nominations. Feid comes in second place with 11 and Bad Bunny with 10. Rauw is nominated for Artist of the Year, Top Social Artist, and Song of the Year for “LOKERA,” among other categories. Feid is competing in categories like Top Artist – Male, Top Social Artist, and Song of the Year for “Feliz Cumpleaños Ferxxo.” Bad Bunny is also nominated for Artist of the Year, Song of the Year for “Me Porto Bonito” with Chencho Corleone, and three times for Collaboration of the Year (“La Jumpa” with Arcángel, “La Corriente” with Tony Dize, and “Party” with Rauw Alejandro).
As far as female talent goes, the artists that lead this year’s nominations are Karol G with nine, Rosalía with eight, and Tini with six. Karol’s nominations include Artist of the Year, Song of the Year for “Provenza,” and Album of the Year – Female Artist for Mañana Será Bonito. Rosalía’s nods include Song of the Year – Duo or Group for “Besos Moja2” with Wisin y Yandel, and Top Social Artist. Tini’s nominations include Top Artist – Female and Top Social Artist.
Other notable nominated female artists include Becky G, Shakira, and Young Miko, who received five nominations each. Becky’s up for Top Song – Tropical Urban for “Arranca” with Omega and Album of the Year – Female Artist for Esquemas. Shakira’s nominations include Collaboration of the Year for “TQG” with Karol G and Top Song – Pop Urban for “Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53” with Bizarrap. Young Miko’s include Top Rising Star – Female and Top Song – Trap for “Lisa” and “Big Booty” with Hozwal and Lil Geniuz.
Moreover, rising star Peso Pluma is nominated for Remix of the Year for “La Bebe Remix” with Yng Lvcas and Top Artist – Regional Urban. Ivy Queen is also nominated for Best Comeback, alongside Maldy, Vico C, and Don Omar.
