The entire list of E! 2020 People’s Choice Awards noms are out and—no surprise here—Bad Bunny and J Balvin, in that order, appear most on the list.
San Benito’s YHLQMDLG has a chance at winning top honors and both he and Balvin are up for Best Male Artist. Balvin and Benito get another nod for “Una Día,” the collab with Dua Lipa, featuring Tainy, too. And the picks are mostly solid for overall Best Latin Artist with Becky G, Daddy Yankee, Maluma, Karol G, Nicky Jam, Ozuna and, again, Bad Bunny and J Balvin.
Latin artists across other categories include CNCO, up for Group of 2020. You’ll find Selena Gomez in there, too, as well as the non-musical category of Social Celebrity. In addition, obviously “WAP” from Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion is in the mix, as it should be.
Voting is now live for all of the above. You’ve got until Oct. 23 to make your picks.
Queen J. Lo will be distinctly honored this year with the People’s Icon Award. A montage of iconic moments highlight how, according to E!’s Jen Neal, the artist “single-handedly [increased] Latinx representation in music, film, television and fashion.”
The ceremony is slated to air Sunday, Nov. 15, on E! at 9 p.m. EST.
