Several years ago, I read about Germany’s Waste Isolation Pilot Plant – a deep geological repository licensed to permanently dispose of radioactive waste for 10,000 years. In an effort to create a warning system for future humans (or aliens!) linguists/scientists/writers/futurists have pondered many possible signs that would clearly communicate “DANGER” to anyone who saw them. One option suggested was a sign with Edvard Munch’s famous painting “The Scream” on it, which got me thinking – if we could pick any art works to communicate something essential about the human race to aliens or future people, what would we pick? We sat down with Bosnian Rainbows at Vive Latino and asked them their thoughts in the video below:
