The lead singer of Brazil’s legendary alt rock group The Concept (who you’ll recall from this feature) has stepped out on his own and came baring gifts. Robson Gomes is writing new music under the moniker Robsongs and has released an impressive new track from his upcoming solo album.
Gomes has outdone himself with this sexy and tightly produced rock ode. His alt rock sensibilities are still very strong in “Essa Grande Falta de Você – pré” (Miss You Very Much – Prelude in Portuguese), but his fascination with psych and experimental rock is touched with a taste of pop and almost spiritual influences that make Robsong’s new track uplifting and a joy to listen to. It will surely leave a sweet and positive taste in your mouth!
