Shakira is pushing back the U.S. dates of her highly-anticipated Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour. On Oct. 18, the Colombian superstar revealed that she wil be starting the North American tour after her Latin American leg in 2025. She’s set to reveal her new stateside tour dates on Monday (Oct. 21). Her original kick-off date was at the Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert, CA, on Nov. 2.

Shakira revealed via a press statement that she’s no longer starting her North American trek this November. After noting that this is already the “biggest tour” of her career, she said demand has reached a point to pivot from her arena tour to a stadium tour. She will also announce additional dates. “The production of my show is also now much larger and unlike anything I’ve done before. As a result, we’re elevating my North America run from arenas to stadiums and the dates will be shifted to May 2025, right after my Latin American tour. Get ready- cities and dates will be announced on Monday!” she wrote online.

She closes the statement by saying that she’s thankful for the support, understanding, and love from her fans. Shak said that it all means the world to her and helps her continue to break barriers. “I’ll be waiting for all of you with great anticipation. I promise to make it worth the wait and deliver the best show of my life,” she said.

According to Ticketmaster, tickets for the canceled U.S. leg will be refunded within 14 to 21 days. With this announcement, Shakira will now start her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour at the Estádio Nilton Santos in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Feb. 11, 2025.

Moreover, Shakira released her newest music video for “Soltera” last week. She’s also up for three Latin Grammys next month.
