The 2025 Grammy Awards just got more exciting! On Jan. 24, the Recording Academy revealed the award show’s first round of performers, including the Colombian superstar Shakira. The prestigious award show is taking place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, CA, on Feb. 2.

“Experience the @Shakira energy on the #GRAMMYs stage this year,” the organization announced online. “…We are grateful that Shakira is joining us on stage to show support for her fellow music makers and others impacted by the recent wildfires.”

The “TQG” singer is bound to have a big year. Not only is she finally kicking off her highly-anticipated Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour next month in Brazil (Feb. 11), but she’s giving us a taste of it a week before at the Grammys. Based on the video announcement, we can expect the Colombian icon to sing her latest track, “Soltera,” which was hyped by fans and stellar celebrities such as Danna, Kenia Os, and Belinda.

Other artists performing at the 2025 Grammy Awards include Charli xcx, Sabrina Carpenter, and Chappell Roan. Billie Eilish, Raye, and Doechii are also taking the stage. Shakira is the only Latine performer confirmed as of now.

This year, Shak is nominated for Best Latin Pop Album for her latest album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran. The LP is up against Kali Uchis’ Orquídeas, Kany García’s García, Anitta’s Funk Generation, and Luis Fonsi’s El Viaje. This isn’t the first time she’s been nominated in this category. She’s actually won twice for Best Latin Pop Album thanks to El Dorado (2018) and Shakia – MTV Unplugged (2001). She also has a Grammy for Best Latin Rock/Alternative Album for Fijación Oral Vol. 1 (2006).

Other Latines nominated this year include Bad Bunny, Feid, and Young Miko. The 67th edition of the Grammys will air on CBS at 8 p.m. EST.
