Damn, talk about a hiatus. We hadn’t heard anything from Colombian elec-tropi-cumbia group Sidestepper since their last album in 2008. Now, all of a sudden, the band kicks off 2015 by announcing that their new album, Supernatural Love, is ready to go!
However, there’s one catch: they need YOU to help them out. Sidestepper have setup a crowdfunding effort via Uonset to fund the mastering and distribution for the album, which they have described as a more “organic” album that doesn’t rely at all on samples, keyboards, or synths.
As always, there are a number of rewards for those who donate, including limited-edition prints of the album and clothing. There will also be a private concert for 100 “onsetters” and more.
