Our new series, Soundcloud Selects, takes you through our top picks this week from the online platform’s forever-scrolling catalog of remixes, edits, bootlegs, unofficial releases, mixtapes, and more.

DJ Kriz Stylez – “Reggaeton Then & Now”
@djkrizstyles
DJ Kriz Stylez of Lo Maximo Productions’ DJ roster provides us with over an hour of reggaeton history. From the first dance hits that broke into the mainstream like “Noche De Sexo” and “Dile,” the mix blends in the genre’s newer tracks, including Wisin’s solo efforts like “Sistema” and Don Omar’s latest, “Guaya Guaya.” –Marco Gomez

Cvsper – “Fairies”
Cvsper on Facebook
Chile’s 21-year old melodic dance music prodigy, Cvsper, has returned to the blogsphere with yet another emotional house bomb good enough to make Chucky’s bride cry. This song is reminiscent of his Girl EP (Finesse Records), so if you’re more into PDAs on the dancefloor than actually dancing, I suggest you give it a try as well.–Eric Gamboa

Aglory – “Esmeralda”
@AGLORYmusic
Alright, Aglory might not be latin but his “Esmeralda” dembow-influenced track for Man Recording’s ‘Tropical Jams” definitely makes me suspicious about the guy’s alleged Parisian blood. This is one heaven of moombahluv for the club; be sure to have a partner to dance with when you hear this at high volumes. –EG

Joey LaBeija – “Pretty Hoe ft. Ms Porsh”
@youngbrknfamous
Oh yes, this one was a natural choice. New York boricua producer Joey LaBeija appears again on Souncloud Selects with this peak-time track combining ’90s rave samples, baile funk beats, hardstyle percussion, and vocals from Ms. Porsh. What easily could have turned out as overdone with that range of samples comes through as a hard-hitting club track. Already looking forward to hearing more from this producer. –Sara Skolnick

Siete Catorce – “(me.rindo)”
@sietecatorce
Siete Catorce continues his steady output of tracks, extending a haunting, downtempo mid-week release with a steadfast line of handclaps grounding ethereal synths, perfect for overcast weather, or feels.–SS

Princess Nokia + Owwwls – “Seraphims (Purple Lemonade Edit)”
@princess_nokia, @OWWWLS
Owwwls, the producer behind Princess Nokia’s epic debut album, offers us a new version of “Seraphims.” One of the more abstract, drum and bass influenced tracks from Metallic Butterfly, this version is more club-friendly, with chopped-up vocal hooks and a healthy dose of Ha’s (the iconic ballroom/vogue sample from Masters at Work’s “The Ha Dance”).–MG

Keys N Krates – “Dum Dee Dum (Phynx Remix)”
@djphynx
I swear I fucking hate EDM, but most times trap music manages to get under my skin and make me dance to them build-ups and succulent drops. Thankfully, Guadalajara’s Phynx is here to help me avoid losing myself with this awful guilty pleasure. Just listen to what he did to Keys N Krates’ trap hit “Dum Dee Dum”. He made love to it, more hip-hop, more real, more chill. Phynx has that Midas Touch lots of the young beatsmiths are missing. Enjoy! –EG
