Spanish power pop duo Amaral is coming back to the US and has just announced three upcoming shows on their West Coast tour. Eva Amaral and Juan Aguirre will be promoting the recent release of their sixth official album, Hacia Lo Salvaje, which they released under their own independent label, Discos Antártida, after severing ties with their former label EMI.

For those of you who aren’t familiar, the duo started in the nineties in Zaragoza playing covers of English-language classic rock in pubs until they had their first big hit in ’98 with their major label debut. Since then, they haven’t stopped growing in popularity, not only in their local market, but in many places of Latin America as well. Some of their original compositions, like “Sin tí no soy nada” and “Cómo hablar” are already considered modern classics of Spanish rock.

Hacia Lo Salvaje will also be released in the US by Delanuca Records to coincide with the tour dates that include stops in San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
