EDM fans from Colombia and all over Latin America, rejoice! From December 29 to January 10, the first edition of the Storyland festival will be held in Cartagena, following in the footsteps of other international dance-centered electronic music festivals, like Tomorrowland, Creamfields, and Ulta, among others. The first confirmed acts include artists like Hardwell, Jamie Jones, and Oliver Heldens, and over 30 more national and international names are yet to be announced, completing three consecutive days of non-stop partying, so you can dance your way to the New Year.
This is great news for the public, but also for local artists. Thanks to the Line Up Selektor platform, you can sign up and compete for a spot in the festival. Five EDM artists, four “underground,” and one live act will be picked, so send an email to djselektor@storyland.com.co with the following information:
- A picture of your act
- Links to all your social media profiles and channels
- A Mixcloud-hosted link of an original track or DJ set (30 minutes max)
- Artist logo
- Biography (350 characters max)
- Information about your place of residency
- Category in which you’re interested in participating
- Contact information
You have until September 13 to submit all your info, so don’t miss your chance to be part of Storyland 2016.
