So, every British tabloid and music blog is talking about. And here at Remezcla, we also need to share with the U.S. Latino Morrissey lovers the news (or rumor, however you want to see it). Several sources have confirmed to the British Tabloid, Holy Moly, the news that The Smiths will be reuniting to play four shows in the UK, 2013. WOAH!!! But before you book your UK tix now, or get upset because you can’t make it across the Atlantic, the American/Latino masses should also know that Morrissey told the Herald Sun:
SUN: At Coachella a few years you complained about the waft of burning flesh from a nearby barbeque. Has that been a problem since at outdoor shows?
MORRISSEY: Not at all, and interestingly the agents for Coachella offered a 100% vegetarian event for the following year if I would agree to headline with Johnny Marr as the Smiths. Fascinatingly they made it clear that they would “not require” the Smiths’ bass player or drummer … which I thought certainly said something.

PS. If your mate ever says he/she doesn’t like The Smiths, then that’s a sure sign you should reevaluate that relationship.
UPDATE (10/5): …we were assured by several people with their feet higher up the music biz ladder than us that Morrissey, Marr and at least one of the other fellas were confirmed for four reunion shows in 2013. It seemed unlikely, but our sources were very certain. Now that Moz has ruled such a reformation out completely, we wonder how such rumours got started. Or is he just bluffing? — Holy Moly
