What’ll make your slow week speed up faster than counting seconds? No, my answer’s not drugs, sillies. Here’s a good ol’ healthy recipe, drink lots of electrolytes and listen to a lot of fucking awesome music. Duh. Despite that it’s Thursday, and it’s already late in afternoon, this’ll certainly get your booty bumping at least until Saturday. Heck, I just realized my head-shaking got a bit off control in the office listening the Maldrileño DJ/producing duo The Zombie Kids. They recently released their Face EP this week via National Records where you can purchase it HERE on iTunes. The four tracks, three of them called “Face,” and then there’s “Roulette,” are charged with chainsaw-esque, bootylicious beats that rubs off influences by the likes of metal group The Dillinger Escape Plan, and of course some moombahton noise in the soundscapes. Oh, and I’m sure these Spanish dudes can charge up any club around town, so be sure to check them out if you happen to take a trip to Spain (see their myspace for dates). In the meantime, watch the video for “Face.”

Music by The Zombie Kids (Cumhur Jay, Ikki & Edgar).
Vocals by Aqeel.
Drums by David Unison aka Pelos.
Video by Hugo Cos.
