Artists such as Jessy Bulbo, Pønce, Ali Gua Gua, María Daniela y Su Sonido Lasser, Juan Manuel Torreblanca, Belafonte Sensacional, and many others have come together to record songs for a compilation that will benefit the yearly caravan of Central American mothers who are looking for their lost children en route to the United States.

De Aquí y De Allá: Homenaje A La Caravana De Madres Centroamericanas was organized by Movimiento Migrante Mesoamericano, a non-profit that helps the mothers make their way from their homes through Mexico and to the border with the U.S. 2020 is the 16th year the caravan takes place to raise the voice of immigrant rights and to demand governments to take responsibility for some of the most atrocious negligences of human rights in the present day. By making the pilgrimage, the mothers give a strong reminder of the human toll that takes place when the right to transit to look for a better life is violated, giving voice to the displaced. During its history, Carvana de Madres Centroamericanas have reunited more than 300 families.

De Aquí y De Allá will be available on December 3 through Bandcamp to encourage people to purchase it the following day when the platform will waive their fees for artists to get the most profits. Thus, all the sales of the comp during Bandcamp Friday will go directly to the mothers. Furthermore, donations can be made through bank deposit in Mexico; details are below.
