Latine artists ruled VEVO this past year… But no, Bad Bunny didn’t even crack the top 10. Today (Dec. 7), the video streaming platform revealed the most-watched artists and music video around the globe, and Karol G came out on top.

Among VEVO’s most-viewed music videos this past year, seven Latine acts appeared on the list. Colombian superstar Karol G had the biggest music video of the year with “Provenza.” The feel-good banger amassed over 546.9 million views. Coming up in the runner-up spot is “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” from Disney’s Encanto soundtrack. Colombian icon Shakira finished the year at No. 3 with her breakup anthem “Te Felicito” featuring Rauw Alejandro. Karol G’s “Gatúbela” with Maldy pulled in at No. 5.

Mexican singer Christian Nodal proudly represented música mexicana in the top 10 most-viewed music videos of the year. The video for his kiss-off track “Ya No Somos Ni Seremos” came in at No. 7 with over 180.1 million views. Chencho Corleone’s collaboration “La Llevo Al Cielo” appeared at No. 8 on the list. Camila Cabello rounded out the top 10 with “Bam Bam” featuring Ed Sheeran. Spanish pop star Rosalía added to the Spanish-language songs in the list with “Despechá” at No. 6.

Karol G also ruled the most-watched artists globally list. On Vevo, she pulled in over 2.76 billion cumulative views. Right behind her, in second place, Shakira amassed over 2.49 billion views. That was probably aided by her other music video for “Monotonía” that seemingly hinted at her split from Gerard Piqué. Both singers placed ahead of pop heavy-hitters like The Weeknd, Taylor Swift, and Justin Bieber. Surprisingly, Bad Bunny was nowhere to be found on either the most-viewed videos or among the most-watched artists on VEVO.

Bad Bunny’s frequent collaborator J Balvin, came in at No. 8 among the most-watched artists’ list. Nodal rounded out the top 10 with over 1.41 billion cumulative views.
