For a song so focused on Internet-era relations and Web life, its video had to capture (or maybe champion) that same online aesthetic. Dadalú‘s latest, “Internet,” collages some of the things we love and hate: cats, friends, hashtags, and life mottos (e.g. “The party don’t start until I log in”).
For some, “Internet” and its video are vivid reminders of the disconnect that happens when we’re constantly connected. For others who revel in this iEra, this is their anthem. The track is off Dadalú’s upcoming EP, watch the video below, directed by ainosattoram.
