Watching breathtaking scenes of what presumably is a typical show by El Freaky Colectivo, one can only hope to attend such awesome shindig. “El Freaky Sound” features scenes with DJs, dancers, and audiences alike going berzerk. At 2:38, we can only assume this is a just a fun size sample before getting the bigger treat.

Soundwise, the track is a hectic mixture of distorted reggaeton beats, single note synth riffs, glitches, and shouts. Although El Freaky are known to rescue popular sounds from their native Colombia, here they remain bassy and frantic, yet they retain a certain salsa swagger that’s hard to replicate. This is music to get your party going till the next weekend.

The collective —formed by Andrés Shaq, Kmmy Ranks, Mike Style, and Fat Sugar Man— started around five years ago presenting the Freaky Friday parties in Bogota; soon, they began to bring internationally renowned DJs such as Toy Selectah and Frikstailers to their backyard. Their notoriety has made them a great success and unlikely openers to global teen idols Justin Bieber and One Direction in their home country.

In the end, they are all about bring the biggest and best party they can, something “El Freaky Sound” bears unquestionable witness to. Watch the video below.
