This is a fun one. Luciano Rubio stepped up to the plate to direct Gepe’s “Bacán tu casa,” the fourth single off the wildly popular GP. Rubio is no stranger to Daniel Riveros videos—he directed some from the days of yore (“Por la Ventana” and “Samoriseva”)—and in this one he allowed Gepe’s undeniable charisma (and non-pedestrian good looks) do the guiding. In fact, “Bacán tu casa” and “Por la Ventana” feel like kindred video spirits, what with all the texture clashing and pops of color. We also get cameos from Pedropiedra and the highlight of all Gepe shows, his delightful Andean folk dancers.
