Because if 15 year olds are making this kind of music then I should really just stop trying for good. Ibi Ego’s album, the roman numeral’d 1998, MCMXCVIII, is a beautiful project with a beautiful teaser and, now, a beautiful video. Directed by Maurice Falaise, “1998” moves cinematically, exploring both tender and aggressive homoerotic sexuality. Between the green bodies and the strobes, the video sucks you in.
