María Magdalena—Chilean spandex aficionado—goes Earthy in her newest video, “Floresta (Remix).” The track is a reworking of her more-stripped original, giving it a more distinct electro-camp sound that lingers. I love this version. It has these simultaneously flamboyant and minimal touches that read both awkward and exciting. We had heard María Magdalena’s pipes on other tracks, but we hadn’t been able to appreciate her voice for the odd and impressive animal that it is. “Floresta (Remix)” gives you a chance to marvel.
