Constanza and Soledad of Chilean pop band Marineros are turning heads with their second single “Oh Oh.” The band, housed by record label Unión del Sur, delivers another staple of wistful, melancholic lyrics paired with atmospheric, dreamy rhythm and structure.
“Oh Oh” creates an overall mood of beautifully crafted beats. The melody is paired with a steady drumbeat to produce a powerful emotive result, combining a touch of sensual, painfully shy whispers with an ethereal pulsing bass line.
The single has also been released with a video, directed by Álvaro Puentes. Yet again, Marineros is slowly building great expectations for their long-awaited LP debut.
