You guys, Murciano Total are really really great. You should all give them a chance now so when their inevitably good new album comes out next year on El Genio Equivocado you can be all like, “Pff, duh, amirite?” They’re making it easy for you, too. In June they gave us the video for “El Espejo,” a track that proves they have cool friends like Klaus & Kinski’s Alex Martínez Moya, and this week we have “El Rey Caníbal,” a slow synth burner in the vein of fellow Spaniards espíritusanto.
To preface the new album, the label will release a cassette in October with every edited Murciano track to date, to give new listeners a taste. Watch the b&w clip below for “El Rey Caníbal.”
