Video: Nico Cota's "Brinda Bienestar" [ARG]

Nico Cota has been Argentine funk’s unsung hero since the early ’90s. Back then he was part of Illya Kuryaki & The Valderramas‘ backing band. He also played with Dante’s father, Luis Alberto Spinetta, and brother, Leeva, in his band Geo Ramma, while building a reputation as a DJ in some of Buenos Aires’ most select clubs.

Last year he released his second solo album, Escucha El Ritmo, full of slick funky grooves and a plethora of guest stars including, of course, his old friends Dante and Emmanuel. “Brinda Bienestar” is the first video single off that album and if you look close you might find one half of the Kuryaki duo doing a short cameo at the end.
