Known for their socially conscious lyrics, Los Angeles’ grammy-award winners Ozomatli has been bringing awareness on the immigration’s plight for over a decade. Forming near the U.S.-Mexico border, the band can easily inspire anyone to bailar guaguancó to their sweet vibrant Latin-fusion tracks, while shedding light on the undocumented immigrant’s struggle, as they do in their latest music video, “Jardinero.” The tune is part of the soundtrack for A Better Life directed by Chris Weitz (The Twilight Saga, American Pie, About a boy), and premiers June 24th, 2011.
