Niña Dioz is the little rapper/artist that could. Since 2009, Dioz was stuck in artistic hell thanks to her former label holding her album hostage due to lack of funds to market it. She fought back like Rocky, getting all stronger like Britney, by releasing numerous mixtapes until she was finally able to independently release her debut, Indestructible, earlier this year.
That final product isn’t the same album she put together those years ago. The new tracks reflect her decades-long hustle and struggle to get her name out. “Sueños” pretty much lays all that out in the chorus when Dioz, who takes a bit of a Pop turn during these bits, sings “Sueños muy grandes que tengo yo. Quiero que el mundo sepa quien soy.” Needless to say, those dreams are coming true.
Speaking of Rocky, there’s a bit in the video where she trains in a gym taking the fight metaphor to a literal level. Our calls to Golden Boy Promotions asking about signing Dioz unfortunately went unanswered.
