Here’s something for all you enamorados on your day. I’m not certain about many things in life, but one thing I sure am certain about: nobody can avoid falling in love with Carol C‘s soulful voice. I don’t know, but maybe that’s the reason DC’s Thomas Blondet chose her as a guest vocalist for the first single of his upcoming album Futureworld (dropping March 4th on Rhythm & Culture).

The future world predicted by the producer will be built upon dub and organic hip-hop breaks but it’ll combine eclectic influences from around the globe (Indian, Balkan, Caribbean, etc.) in ways that are not always expected. For example: having the Spanish-language singing of this New York underground diva (better known as the lead singer of Si*Sé) over a middle-eastern, downtempo groove.
