Being happy is the new being mad for rappers. While Pharrell filmed a 24-hour-long video to say just that, on the other side of the Atlantic, Sevilla’s Shotta just dropped this new video, the first single from his upcoming fourth full-length album and it’s all shiny, happy people.
Spain’s biggest dancehall reggae star Morodo joins him for the chorus and a bunch of good-looking people smile at the camera while Shotta (the younger brother of Spain’s hip-hop heavy-weight Tote King) reminds us of all the usual reasons to be happy.
Gone are the days of all rappers acting tough, staring a us with clenched teeth, and I couldn’t be happier about it.
