Remember Dave Chappelle’s hilarious racial draft sketch? If not, here’s a refresher:
Leaving aside the fact that Latinos aren’t actually a race (don’t have time to address that whole can of worms in this post), I always think of this sketch every time a Latino comes along who I’d rather not claim as one of our own. Like George Zimmerman. Can we just give Zimmerman to Team Gringo?
Adding to my list of trades is rapper Stitches, an 18 year old Cuban-Greek from Miami who has been getting viral buzz for his video “Brick in Yo Face.” I don’t even know what to say about Stitches other than that he has an AK-47 tattooed on his face and is basically a Gathering of the Juggalos personified. If that’s your thing — and apparently it’s some people’s thing since his video has been getting lots of attention on the internets– then check it out below. If you prefer not to have nightmares about Pinhead then maybe just skip it.
In an interview with Complex, Stitches revealed that he’s been working with big names in the industry and plans to drop another video this Friday, so this may just be the beginning of the nightmare.
What are your thoughts? Are we claiming this half-Cubano coke boy from Miami or nah?
