Mexico is calling…and pretty damn loud. With an ever spectacular lineup filled with tons of favorites like heavyweight bands (Morrissey, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs, Fobia, Celso Piña, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, etc.), emerging Latin artists (A Band of Bitches, Alex Anwandter, Bosnian Rainbows, François Peglau, Juan Cirerol, Los Macuanos, Monsieur Periné, Ondatrópica, Carla Morrison, etc.), established Latin acts (Bomba Estéreo, Los Amigos Invisibles, Panteón Rococó, Mala Rodriguez, Nortec Collective, etc.), and including some reunion announcements (Porter (!!), Blur (?), scoot over, Coachella), the future couldn’t seem any more brighter than it does today (yes, I do realize that this may be the longest sentence ever written on this blog, but it’s totally worth it).
Its 14th installment of Vive Latino expands an extra day from March 14th-17th at Foro Sol, and sparks higher buzz with already confirming over 110 bands that we actually like. The bad-ish news is that if falls on the same week as SXSW, but honestly, this one seems a bit more promising. Plus, I’m sure that lot’s of these bands will be joining in both fests, so if you can’t go to one, you have another option. No brainer, you say? Check out the full lineup below.
