Heavily Rooted in both Music and Classic American culture, the Tokyo based label Wacko Maria has been creating high end renditions of timeless 1940’s silhouettes since 2005. The brand’s quality garments, heavily influenced by West Coast and Chicano culture have spawned a cult following of fashion bros from L.A. to Shibuya. Though product is important, the brand hangs its hat on its rebellious ethos and lust for counterculture, creating irreverent designs for the modern cool kid.

Given the brand’s history, their latest project with iconic rock group Rage Against the Machine seems like a no brainer. The line includes an extensive range of tees, button downs and sweatshirts donning classic band logos, graphics and album covers. The stand out piece from the collection is the all over print open collared shirt. Available in 5 colors, the piece is the best representation of both brand and band featuring a mashup of politically charged RATM graphics printed on one of Wacko Maria’s renowned 40s and 50s style Hawaiian shirts.

The collaboration is available for purchase now at Wacko Maria’s online store
