Arcángel surprised us today with the music video drop of “La Jumpa,” his latest collaboration with Bad Bunny. The hype music video release comes ahead of his Just in Time performances at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan, which start Feb. 2 through 8.

“La Jumpa”’s visuals feature the day-one duo doing what they do best: performing together and hyping their beloved audience. It starts with the two artists getting ready to go out, as Arcángel starts rapping his hard-hitting verse. The video follows the stars as they perform on top of a gasoline station and at the Fifty Eight nightclub—both performances in front of massive crowds singing every lyric. Other scenes show the two rapping in front of a graffiti art wall of Benito and then one of Arcángel.

It’s also a music video full of nostalgia. If one of the locations looks familiar to you, it’s because they recreated a part of their “Tú No Vive Así” music video from back in 2016. But it doesn’t stop there. Towards the end, we see a quick throwback montage of the duo’s successes from then to now.

Social media users feel the warm emotion that the music video’s end captured. A Twitter user wrote: “the end of the  video of La jumpa literally made me cry, I’m glad they’ve been friends for so many years 👁️🔥 #Lajumpa #Badbunny #Arcangel.” Another Twitter user expressed the same sentiment: “Bad Bunny and Arcangel just gave me a 2016 nostalgia of when they started doing collaborations together and obviously the rest is history 🔥.”

Fast forward to now, Arcángel is on the verge of performing seven consecutive shows at one of PR’s most recognized venues. As for Benito, he’s about to make history as the first Latine to headline Coachella, one of the most popular music festivals in the world. He also made history with Un Verano Sin Ti, which is the first Spanish-language album to be nominated for the “Best Album of the Year” at the Grammys. The ceremony will air on Feb. 5.
