Over the weekend, the K-pop girl group BLACKPINK held the last two U.S. shows of their Born Pink World Tour in Los Angeles, CA. To commemorate the first out of two stadium shows stateside at the Banc of California Stadium, the girls brought out a special guest on Nov. 19. And it was none other than Camila Cabello.

During the members’ solo performances, Jisoo went with a cover of Cabello’s “Liar.” Wearing a flowy red dress, Jisoo sang and danced to the song along with her dancers when suddenly, without introduction, the “Havana” singer simply came out singing the next part of the song. Though it had been previously announced that she would be joining her performance, the crowd went wild.

Decked out in a customized ensemble featuring different Blackpink merch, Cabello sang with Jisoo in duet form and even fired up the crowd by telling them to throw their hands up. At the end of the song, the pair shared a warm hug. “Thank you so much for joining me today,” Jisoo told Cabello and then asked the fans to give it up for her. Cabello echoed the sentiment and said she had so much fun, which made them exchange another hug.

Later in the show, Jennie brought up Jisoo and Cabello’s set, making the first smile from ear to ear and act all giddy. Rosé pointed out how Jisoo had hugged Cabello six times, to which she responded, “Because I love her.” The foursome then walked over to the left side of the stage to say hello to fans but ended up spotting Cabello in the crowd and exchanged a cute two-way fangirl moment between the two global acts.

Can this cute duet eventually lead to an actual collab between Cabello and BLACKPINK? After all, the K-pop outfit is no stranger to collaborations — especially with Latine artists. For their 2020 album, THE ALBUM, the group teamed up with Selena Gomez for their single “Ice Cream.” On the same LP, they also got a feature from Cardi B for “Bet You Wanna.” Last year, Lisa joined Ozuna, Megan Thee Stallion, and DJ Snake for “SG.”

BLACKPINK wrapped up the Born Pink World Tour in the U.S. last night (Nov. 20) in LA. Cabello is currently a judge on The Voice and recently received a Grammy nomination for her collaboration with Ed Sheeran.
