It’s so hard to say goodbye. After eight incredible years, CNCO is bidding farewell to their fans with a parting gift, “La Última Canción” (May 3).

On “La Última Canción,” CNCO expresses their journey through the ups and downs over the years and their appreciation for their loyal fans who have been with them every step of the way. The music video, directed by Anita Tillero, showcases the band recording the song in the studio and reflecting on their history as a group. From their early beginnings to thrilling fans around the world, the visual captures some of CNCO’s most memorable moments.

“We were looking for something that represents the phase that we are currently living and our entire career,” said the band via press release. “This song came to us, ‘La Última Canción,’ and we loved it. We are very excited because it reflects our dedication to our fans throughout the years.”

CNCO was formed in 2015 after the members competed in “La Banda,” a televised singing competition on Univision. With hit songs like “Reggaetón Lento (Bailemos),” “Hey DJ,” and “Se Vuelve Loca,” the group quickly gained a massive following and ushered in a new era for Latine boy bands. CNCO announced their breakup while accepting the award for Best Fandom at last year’s Premios Juventud.

For fans who wish to see the band one last time, CNCO is set to hit the road for their farewell “Última Cita” tour that will make stops across the U.S., Latin America, and Europe. The tour will kick off on May 9 in La Paz, Bolivia, and continue through the rest of the year.
