Latines thrived at this year’s three-weekend EDM festival Tomorrowland in Belgium, which lasted from July 29 to 31. Not only did Karol G appear as Tiësto’s guest star, but there was also an epic wedding proposal that caught the audience’s eye. We’re talking about Puerto Rican rapper Guaynaa getting down on one knee and proposing to Venezuelan-American social media star Lele Pons during Steve Aoki’s set on July 31.
“AHHHHH YESSSSSSS!!! SIIIIIIII !!! 💍💍💍 happiest day of my life,” Lele Pons wrote on her Instagram.
After performing his upcoming unreleased song “Chichi” with Steve Aoki, Guaynaa tells the crowd: “Guys, this is my beautiful girlfriend, Lele Pons. And I want to ask her a great question here. I know what this means to you. I know how much Tomorrowland [means to you.] Lele, will you marry me?”
“Claro que sí, yes, yes!” Lele Pons responds, with happy tears running down her face. The socialite Paris Hilton hugs Pons right after the emotional engagement proposal.
Since the video hit the Internet, many of the couple’s artist friends and fans are congratulating the newly engaged lovebirds who have been dating since 2020. “Congrats to @lelepons & @guaynaa on their engagement 💍,” Steve Aoki wrote on his Instagram.
Hilton, who hosted Pons during her show Cooking With Paris, wrote on Twitter: “Sis! What a magical moment!🥰 How epic getting proposed to on the Main Stage at @Tomorrowland?!🙌 Such a vibe!🔥Congratulations to @LelePons & @Guaynaa_ I’m so happy I was there with you for this incredibly special life moment. Can’t wait for the wedding! 👰🏼♀️.”
