Colombia’s biggest reggaeton stars released a new collaboration. On Nov. 7, Karol G, Feid, Maluma, and more united for their newest track titled “+57,” paying tribute to their home country’s international calling code. The result? A reggaeton banger with an intimate music video that takes us behind the scenes – with a quick kiss between the “FRIKI” singers included.
The epic collaboration celebrates Colombian reggaeton as “a cultural movement that has become a way of life,” per the track’s press release. The artists involved are Karol G, Feid, DFZM featuring Ovy On The Drums, J Balvin, Maluma, Ryan Castro, and Blessd. “+57” was produced by hitmaker Ovy On The Drums, putting yet another reggaeton gem on La Bichota’s belt.
The new music video features glimpses of what goes on behind the scenes in the studio. The viewers see the Colombian stars lay down their verses, vibe with each other, and put the song together. Perhaps the most captivating part is the intimate scenes between Karol G and Feid, where the two love birds show affection towards each other. In one scene, the two share a kiss. In another frame, Feid’s holding Karol from behind. Other shots show Feid dancing on Karol.
The camera also follows Maluma, Castro, DFZM, Blessd, and J Balvin who trade verses about a baddie that isn’t tied down. The Colombian stars also take turns singing the song’s chorus with lines like, “Y aunque esa bebita tiene dueño / Ella sale cuando quiera / La nota está subiendo / y ella perreando esa borrachera,” complemented by a sticky, hypnotic reggaeton pop production.
Social media users are thrilled to see Feid and Karol show PDA. An X user wrote: “The best part of +57 was all the content provided by Karol G and Feid.” Another X user commented: “Karol G and Feid the kiss in the video. I died and came back to life.”
“+57” comes after Karol G’s collaboration with Sevdaliza “No Me Cansare,” which she dropped in Oct. Feid recently released “Ferxxoko” with Joyce Santana. DFZM also released “AYY GONO” last month.
