Rising Mexican pop star Kenia Os just released the highly-anticipated music video for her viral hit “Malas Decisiones.” The song quickly became a fan favorite since its release, and the new music video is part of Kenia’s K23 universe.

In the abstract visual, Os is fixated on a mysterious orb that gets dropped by a masked individual on top of a pyramid-like structure. The masked lover watches on as Kenia dances in a futuristic, space-inspired disco. At the climax, she gives her masked lover a kiss before pushing them off the platform, a possible metaphor for making bad decisions in love.

The YouTube sensation turned pop star seems to be intentional about what messages are conveyed in her music videos. “Like everything I do in my career, I like that it has a message. I always try to put that detail in my songs and my work,” Os told Remezcla last year. It seems like her efforts have paid off, as her fans have taken to social media to give their thoughts on the new clip.

“Kenia Os after recording the music video for ‘Malas Decisiones,’” wrote one fan with a meme of high heeled boots leaving a path of fire trailing behind them.

“Seriously, ‘Mala Decisiones’’s success feels really good,” wrote a fan on Twitter. “It’s all organic and people are listening to it out of pure pleasure, and you know it was added to the playlist because it’s already a hit.”

“I’ve already watched the music video for ‘Malas Decisiones’ about a thousand times,” wrote another fan. “With each watch it’s clear that I love Kenia Os,” they continued followed by a heart-eyed emoji.

Last week, Kenia launched her highly-anticipated K23 Tour at the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City (Feb. 3) to a sold-out audience. More shows were added to the tour’s itinerary to meet the overwhelming demand. Upcoming shows such as Guadalajara, Monterrey, San Diego, and New York are also sold out.
