It’s only been a couple of weeks since Selena Gomez premiered her music video for “De Una Vez,” but when it comes to the Mexican American singer, too much of a good thing doesn’t apply.

On Thursday evening (Jan. 28), Gomez continued her resurgence into Latin music with the release of a new Spanish-language single and music video, “Baila Conmigo” (“Dance with Me”), featuring Latin Grammy winner and Puerto Rican rapper Rauw Alejandro.

“[‘Baila Conmigo’] was a really interesting song for me to work on with Selena, since it fuses an authentic reggaeton sound with elements like the plucked electric guitar that lean more pop,” producer Tainy says in a statement. “Rauw’s melodies captured that essence and complemented Selena’s very well. I’m excited for this one!”
The new material is leading up to Gomez’s unveiling of her new Spanish-language EP, REVELACIÓN, out March 12.

Produced by multi-Latin Grammy Award-winning producer Tainy (Bad Bunny, J Balvin), “Baila Conmigo” is a song that demands to be danced to. It comes alive even more with the stunningly photographed music video by Brazilian filmmaker Fernando Nogari. Shot in Los Angeles, Miami and in a remote fishing village in Brazil, Nogari’s visual style captures the authenticity and beauty of the people and places that Gomez’s music touches.

“With ‘Baila Conmigo,’ I want to get everyone dancing,” Gomez says in a statement. “The video portrays the sense of isolation we all are experiencing right now and how music truly does connect us all no matter where we are in the world.”

Alejandro added: “The fact an artist of Selena’s caliber considered me to collaborate on her project is a blessing. ‘Baila Conmigo’ is super catchy and sexy. I hope fans love this collaboration as much as I do.”
